A Trusted Technology Partner for Nepal's Regulated Sectors
Datum Systems Private Limited is a prominent technology solutions and services provider in Nepal. The company stands as a leading trusted technology partner for Nepal's regulated sectors. The company has its registered office at Kathmandu Business Park, Teku, Kathmandu. We are currently focused on providing technology solutions and services to run critical Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) operations for banks and financial institutions.
Our flagship product, TrustAML, caters to all requirements of Nepal's AML/CFT law and the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). Beyond AML/CFT, we also work in payment system infrastructure, banking card supply, and card personalization services and equipment.
The experienced human resources across our team are our greatest asset. Apart from regular products and services, we build customised, standards-compliant solutions focused on quality assurance, risk identification, and risk mitigation for clients across banking, insurance, cooperatives, government, telecom, and manufacturing sectors.
Our team includes specialists from banking and finance, insurance, cooperatives, and government, ensuring every deployment reflects real regulatory and operational requirements.
TrustAML follows the FATF Risk-Based Approach and Nepal's AML/CFT legal framework, giving regulators and law enforcement agencies a consistent, auditable standard of compliance.
From day one, we have delivered mission-critical solutions across sectors where reliability and regulatory accuracy are non-negotiable.
We deliver high-end, affordable ICT solutions built in-house by our own engineers, backed by team members who carry international knowledge and exposure — bringing global best practices home to Nepal's reporting entities.
Dibas served with Nepal Rastra Bank from 1988 to 2018 — three decades that gave him a deep, first-hand understanding of monetary and foreign exchange policy, secure payment systems, and the regulation and supervision of banks and financial institutions. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and pairs that regulatory grounding with a strong technical background in IT infrastructure and systems, recognised early as a Microsoft Certified Professional and a Cisco Certified Network Professional. An international trainer, he has designed and delivered capacity-building and research programmes for government bodies, financial institutions, and international organisations across Nepal and beyond. As Chairman, he brings that rare combination of central-bank insight and technical depth to Datum Systems' commitment to solutions that are both regulator-ready and technically sound.
Girish leads Datum Systems' vision of making TrustAML the trusted backbone of AML/CFT compliance for Nepal's banks and financial institutions. He holds a Master's degree in Management and an engineering degree in Electronics and Communication — a combination that grounds his leadership in both business strategy and the technical realities of the systems Datum builds. With more than a decade of hands-on experience across banking, IT, and regulatory compliance, he has guided Datum Systems from its early AML/CFT engagements to a complete, end-to-end platform trusted across Nepal's regulated sectors. He has led reporting entities across the country and played an instrumental role in bringing many of them onto goAML reporting for the first time, and remains a recognised expert in AML/CFT training and consultancy, having personally guided institutions through both capability building and regulatory-readiness engagements.
Sajita oversees the financial strategy and fiscal discipline behind Datum Systems' growth, from budgeting and compliance to the resourcing that keeps every TrustAML engagement delivered on commitment. She holds a Master's degree in Finance, bringing rigorous financial planning and risk management practice to a company operating in one of the most highly regulated sectors in Nepal. Her steady financial stewardship has been instrumental in helping Datum Systems scale sustainably while remaining accountable to clients, partners, and regulators alike.
Datum Systems has built one of Nepal's most complete AML/CFT platforms — not by claim, but by capability. TrustAML delivers a single, end-to-end platform built natively for Nepal's regulatory framework, from onboarding and screening through to goAML filing with FIU-Nepal, sparing our clients the burden of stitching together multiple vendors or bolt-on modules.
Our journey in AML/CFT began in 2016, when we set out to build a system that spoke the language of Nepal's regulators as fluently as it spoke the language of its banks. A decade on, TrustAML has grown from a single-institution deployment into a proven platform trusted across banking, cooperatives, insurance, securities, remittance, and beyond — refined continuously alongside every NRB directive update and every FIU-Nepal reporting change.
What sets us apart is completeness: one platform covering CDD/EDD, screening, risk profiling, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting, backed by a compliance and IT team that has lived the realities of Nepal's reporting entities from the inside. That completeness has earned us the trust of institutions across the country and recognition as the domain specialist reporting entities turn to when compliance cannot afford to fail.
Our client base spans Class A, B, and C banks, microfinance institutions, cooperatives, hire purchase companies, and other FIU-Nepal reporting entities. We are regularly adding new customers migrating to TrustAML and opening up in new industries, driven by a mission to make the country fully AML/CFT compliant. We keep growing as more institutions move from manual, fragmented compliance to a single, risk-based system.
Software alone does not make an institution compliant — people, process, and platform do. That is why TrustAML is delivered with training, advisory, and hands-on support, backed by a team with a broad spectrum of knowledge in implementing regulatory feedback into working systems. Wherever Nepal's AML/CFT landscape moves next, we intend to already be there — so no reporting entity ever has to face compliance alone.
